Inulin is a natural water-soluble dietary fiber and functional prebiotic that serves as a non-starch energy reserve in plants. It is primarily extracted from asteraceae plants such as Jerusalem artichoke, chicory.
As a prebiotic, inulin is metabolized in the gut to produce short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), which promote the growth of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria, supporting its recognition as the “Guardian of Gut Health”.
This product is available in both Conventional Inulin (90% purity) and Organic-Certified Inulin grades, presented as a white powder. It is widely used in food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, health foods, nutritional supplements, sweeteners, dietary supplements, energy bars, dairy products, and confectionery.
