Beijing, China – September 10, 2025 — Gaotang’s signature koi brand “Tang Xiaoli” made its debut at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), held at the Shougang International Exhibition Center in Beijing. Showcased at the Shandong Pavilion in Hall 4, “Tang Xiaoli” emerged as one of the highlights of the provincial display, captivating visitors with its vibrant symbolism and unique cultural value.


The exhibition appearance follows closely on the heels of “Tang Xiaoli’s” international breakthrough on September 1, when Gaotang koi completed its first overseas shipment to Dragon Mart in Dubai. This marked a decisive step in the county’s strategy to position koi not only as a cultural emblem but also as an international industry.


During the event, provincial and county leaders visited the Shandong Pavilion to view the exhibits, receiving detailed briefings on the brand’s development, product range, and Caixin Group’s role in advancing koi exports. Leaders praised Gaotang’s achievements in establishing a koi export industry and provided guidance for future growth.


On display were a wide range of “Tang Xiaoli” products, from cultural and creative merchandise inspired by koi to live koi specimens representing the region’s advanced breeding techniques. The booth attracted strong interest, including from international visitors, many of whom were fascinated by the koi’s vivid colors and graceful movement. After learning about the koi’s cultural symbolism of prosperity and good fortune, several foreign guests expressed a desire to bring Gaotang’s koi home, underscoring the brand’s cross-cultural appeal.


As a key driver of this internationalization process, Caixin Group has played a central role in building the “Tang Xiaoli” brand. The company supported breeders in obtaining export qualifications for ornamental koi, facilitated farm registrations, and established the crucial export pathway to Dubai.
